My turn to complain
Went to have the rotors checked out and replaced/fixed today. Took the car to the local nissan dealarship and hey guess what...they said they won't fix under warranty! Said the the nissan warranty only covers brakes for 12,000 mile and mine had 14,500 so it will cost me to fix. Asked about the tsb and gave the number, but hey they said it didn't matter, it wasn't covered under warranty. its a shame the nissan does this to their customers. i have had 3 nissan vehicles, (vowing that "i'll never have another one after this one" on each, but breaking down and getting one anyway) Well this time, I mean it! No more. I'm tired of this **** and it shouldn't take an act of congress to get warranty work done. if they don't want to warranty thier vehicles they should just tell you up front you are getting a piece of ****!
Any suggestions on what to do next? Anyone I can call? If you can post some suggestions of numbers it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Thanks,
Mine's going in this week for the same. Spoke to the dealer about the TSB and the dealer said my brakes were covered by the 3/36 warranty. Note that the TSB only instructs the dealer to turn the rotors, not replace them. Also, unless you tell them to (and pay for it), they'll put your old pads back on which is not a good idea.
Bottom line -- I'll end up spending $75 for some Nissan pads, but everything else should be covered.
