Centerforce Clutch For 5.5 gen

I have been in contact with Larry Clark at Centerforce, and i wanted to tell you all what i know so far, centerforce is going to produce a clutch for us, the only thing that is holding them back is that nissan hasnt released the information and specs on the oem clutch, go figure nissan is trying to rip everyone off by making the oem the only clutch available, anyway, Mr. Clark said it could be 60 to 90 days before the clutch informaition is released, i am looking into the laws regarding the mandatory release of the information, because i know there is a law stating that after a certain time the specs must be released to the aftermarket. Anyway, anyone who reads this and has additional information please post it, Thanks

From what I'm told, we can use 350Z/G35 clutch so that means there are already ones available from JWT, Nismo, ACT that I know of, and I'm sure there's others too.

why won't centerforce just spring for a stock clutch from a nissan dealership? i'm sure the company can spare a few hundred dollars for the sake of R&D?

I thought about telling Mr Clark that they should do that, but i stopped short of telling him how his company should run thier buisness, i did tell him about the org though and that there was demand for it.

as for the 350 Z clutch, i will look into it, i would be willing to test it out but i will have to wait on it until june when i start working again. so i can afford to do it.

I personally think Centerforce is lying to you. I called them sometime last year and they said "Oh yes sir, the clutch is being looked at right now, I would expect it to be released in around 2 months from now". Needless to say, now it's about 5 months later and still no clutch. So, I hope this Larry guy is telling the truth, but my guess is he's just telling you what you want to be told. Either way by the time they do come out with a clutch, I'll already have JWT's put on along with their lightned flywheel.

But I thought JWT doesnt a clutch for our cars yet, just the flywheel. Im going to order a clutch and flywheel within the next 2 months, but couldn't find any aftermarket clutchs yet.

So i guess life is just a bish, i go out today and i am just cruisin, stop at a light and i can smell something, something that smells just like burning clutch, i pull into a lot to see if it is coming from my car, sure enough, luckily i wasnt doing anything important, off to the stealership, Service manager is like, whoa, i was like yeah, so they are replacing my clutch, all this talk of Aftermarket clutches must have gotten on my cars nerves.
Now i am without a car for the weekend, Sucks.
