I custom made a 2.25" B pipe to my factory muffler, and its very livable. The exhaust tone has a nice growl to it, but at idle its slightly louder cause the resonator was eliminated. Definitely enhanced acceleration...If you notice on the Maxima exhaust there are crimps, and those are bad ...

cool i stopped by a mechanic and he said that he could get me a custom B pipe 2.25" for $89 installed so i am definatley going to do it i hope it doesnt sound really bad..... thanks for the info.....if i dont like it its only $89 so its not that much money to take it off and put the stock one back on!

I guess $89 sounds like a pretty good bargain. If he is gonna build you 2.25" B-Pipe, I'm wondering if he's gonna cut it near the flange and weld from there. If he is removing your factory one, and building you a new one, you will need new gaskets, and make sure that the flange fits properly, especially the one that connects to the rear section and muffler. Its at an awkward angle, so find out if he is gonna cut next to the flanges and weld or if he will build you a new pipe. Seems like for $89 he is gonna cut near the flange.

yeah true but we will see ill go by there tomorrow and ask i thought that $89 was kinda on the low side so i will ask thanks for letting me know!!!
