Coolant Change - Questions

I wanted to change my engine coolant, but I had some questions:

1) Maybe I'm blind, but where is the Air Relief Plug? For the life of me, I can't seem to find it.

2) In the Electronic Service Manual, it says to remove the drain plugs on both sides of the cylinder block. Over here, however,...

www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/502

...the person who did the write-up says you can either remove the very-hard-to-get-to drain plugs or don't. Is it okay to just leave those on?

3) If I don't remove the drain plugs, about how much total new coolant will I be adding back (including the reservoir tank)?

Thanks in advance.

Peace.

You must have a haynes maanual because I could not find the air relief valve either. I di not remove the block plug because they're not easy to get to. If I remember right I used arround a gallon and 1/4. I replaced both hoses and I took the tsta housing off and got quite a bit out. The only coolant that isn't out is the heater core and some in the block. Buy 1 gal and mix 50/50 in another bucket and fill, run the car with the rad cap off so you can see the level in rad. Hope this helps.
