CARBON FIBER HOOD, VIS or REDLINE?

Need help on what cf hood is better. BDJX has the redline and to me it looks great. He says that the fit is perfect and the edges are rolled. Exactly what I would be looking for. However, VIS is right down the street from me and from what I hear they have a tighter weave. Their edges are also rolled. Both are about the same price at $370.00.

I need to know how the VIS hoods fitment is. Post opinions and pics if possible. Thanks in advance.

Also, I can't seem to find where I can order a Redline cf hood.

Yes. They have both but I am interested in the factory style only.

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed. I hear that the VIS doesn't fit all that well. VIS is right down the street from me and when I called them and asked about the fitment of their hood they told me that their's was a bit cheaper than the competition. They wer not very reassuring and this why the research.

How does a CF hood look on a Polished Titanium Max? You think I should go for it, or keep it body color?

I have the VIS hood, and the fit is pretty good. The weave is excellent and the finish is extremely good as well. I'm happy with mine.

As far as the paint, I like CF hoods with the sides painted to match the car. You can check mine out at:
