Trenz grille on Polished Titanium Maxima.

My friend saw a Maxima and said that it had a Trenz Billet Grille. He said it would look nice on my color and would be a perfect match with my wheels. Should I invest in one of these? Anyone have any pics of it on a PT color maxima?

Thanks.

Since you are asking for opinions....mine is "no"....not really feeling the look of that grill.

It looks good on NT2shabby's ride because his whole car is lookin' pimpin with the chromes and kit...it kind of fits the bling look.

Don't think it would look very good on a car that has a "sporty" setup (sporty looking rims, etc...)

that's just my 2cents though. Do what works for the look you want!

If you're looking for input, I'll give mine: IMHO the trenz grille is the single most fowl looking mod you can make to a Maxima. Looks cheap and has poor fitment. This is one of those times you've gotta ask yourself: Am I modding this part because it's a clear improvement, or just because I'm addicted to modding?

Hey, if you really like it, drop a couple bills. But apparently you're skeptical about the look like most on the org - why else would you ask?

Again, just MHO.

The whole line of Trenz grilles are hideousBillet aluminum grilles can look really nice, but the Trenz ones just happen to be booty...(imo of course). It's not just about how much you spent, it's more about whether you have taste or not

hey you know it also comes down to if you want to put parts on a car that BELONG there (ie 4th gen progress springs on a 5th gen car) or if you don't care and just rig anything that will somewhat fit....

my trenz grill fits in PERFECT with the theme I was goin after and that is PIMP! and I do believe I have achieved that status and apparently so do others on here...

thanx guys, for all the people who continue to support and love my grill and the rest of the mods I have put into my car. In the short 13 months that I have owned my baby, I have put countless hours and $$$$ into her, and its great to know she has some support out there....

You may want to spend a little more time doing research and a little less time running your mouth. As you'll see on Progress website their springs are made for both 4th & 5th gen. http://www.progressauto.com/

If you like the look of the trenz, then good for you. He asked for opinions. I gave mine.

Oh, BTW - Please resize your gigantic sig before a mod tells you to.

progress springs were designed for 4th gen maximas...they fit 5th's so they included it. you have said yourself that the perch doesnt fit 100% so that further proves my point of my applied springs-exactly why the progress drops the way it does because on a 4th gen maxima-they drop like ****

my sig pic is 640x480, but thanx for caring....

If by "100%" you're referring to filling the perch, then yup, true. However, only when the car is on stands. Furthermore, this would hold true on the 4th gen as well and is related to spring height. Owned. Once the car is on the ground - non-issue altogether. Nonetheless, this is another example of you attacking something totally unrelated to the thread topic. I posted my opinion as requested in the thread topic and you didn't like it. Live with it.

Fine. Leave it huge if that makes you feel better. I've no doubt others will call you on it.

ummm... wait up... Housecor simply gave his opinion on the Trenz grill... apprantly, you took offense to his opinion and started insulting him and his car... So from my stand point it is you who started it... Why do you feel that you need to put down other people just because they have a negative opinion on something you may own? Trust me, this is not the first time I have seen it, but I do hope that it is going to be the last time I see **** like this again... I am not going to waste my time to babysit a group of e-thuggin haters... if you people don't quit it, you will no longer be part of this forum.. plain and simple.

woah woah..hold up....if I was "e-thuggin" I woulda threatened to kick the **** outta him, which I in no way did so.....

last time I checked we could insult who we wanted, or at least everyone else gets away with it on this board...

if you feel that people can go ahead and insult people on this board, then you are mistaken. If you don't like the way this board is run, then find another one. Just letting you know that I am not going to put up with it anymore and given your past history with the .org and other moderators, I would suggest you not push it...

I'm not exactly sure I said it looked upscale. However, the 'ricer chicken wire' would be a 1000% improvement over that disgusting Trenz grille.

Maybe we should add that to all posts, people seem to have it a little bent around here....

maximadave's famous line..."Opinions are like *******s, everyones's got one!"

I on the other hand love the OEM grill.....but if i were to ever change it, at least the Trenz is sturdy, strong, rustproof , protectful , and non- ricey.......
I mean what kind of shyt is that when you have to hold in place a "Maxima" grill up with zipties and a rubber border?....

IMO the Trenz grille just does not fit the style of the Maxima. It might look good on a pick-up truck or something, but everytime I see it, it reminds me of a thong shot...that or I've been watching too many rap videos.
