Steering wheel controls

I think I read on here before there is some kind of adapter to hook up the steering wheel controls to an aftermarket HU, does this work on any head unit? If so I just need a link to where I can get one because I'm putting my new deck in over the weekend and I would like to order it asap so It's here by then and I can get everything done all at once. Thanks in advance!

It's called the PAC SWI-X and is a universal solution for restoring steering wheel controls with an aftermarket stereo. Check crutchfield.com. They have it for like $60.

You can get it cheaper from other places. Just search the web. Crutchfield is too expensive. If you want your tripometer to work ground the brown wire coming off the audio harness. Well I think it was brown, it might have been brown with a white stripe, but it was brown. When you install your CD player you'll see what I'm talking about.

Thanks guys, I just bought one off Ebay for like $65 shipped, couldnt find much better than that...Either way its worth it, every time I drive my moms car (94 sentra) I feel myself reaching for my steering wheel controls, obviously I never find them and I actually have to lean forward to change the channel

I don't know what I would do without them now
