If you have a bubble on a tire then that's almost surely your problem. I'd get that swapped immediately since it's likely to fail down the road.

If you still have the noise after swapping the tire, post again.

when was the last time you had a front end alignment?

hitting a good hard bump, changing rim sizes, frequent rough roads, lots of hard cornering - all can throw off your alignment. most decent shops would charge about $100 for the service, there are some (firestone, i think) that offer a lifetime alignment for about $180.

usually you don't feel a small alignment problem until freeway speeds.

take yer pick

Bad balance.

Tire out of round.

Brakes warped.

Bad wheel bearings...???

All could be effecting the stability -- usually bad balance or brake judder.
