Wood Dash Trim Kit

Anybody tried the wood dash kits from wooddashfactory.com? Do they look good? Is it something that needs professional installation or can it be DIY?

I am seriously considering getting an aftermarket kit. I've seen some on ebay, but I don't know about the quality. (anyone know about the vinyl version?) As for installation, the kits are very easy to install and take more time than expertise.

If you plan on getting any dash kit, I would defininetly recommend getting a MOLDED dash kit instead of TRIM. The trim doesnt fit all the way on the doors, the molded looks a little like stock. And will look alot better than the trim.

Of all the kits I've seen so far, this is the most comprehensive IMHO.

I second adub_pearlmax's recommendation for a MOLDED kit. They look much better IMHO than the flat kits.

Another recommendation, do not order from Custom Maxima. Ordered a Chrome Dash Kit (back when they had it). Took like a month to get ship, said it was in there regional warehouse. Which actually meant they first had to order from some other company. When I picked my dash kit, I ordered Manual. When I finally got it, there was about 8 pieces that didnt go no where. Ended up putting every piece that I could on, only to take it off the next day. Left the pieces that go on the vents and doors, just cause my doors were scratched up and the vents looked pretty good. Just my two cents.

I was going to go wit a molded dash kit too. Has anyone seen the brushed bronze in a tan interior Max. I'm wondering if its a nice match or should I just go with the English Burlwood?

well i went ahead and tried out the ebay kits
it was the vinyl version and not the real brushed aluminum.
i can honestly say im VERY happy with the kit, i like the smooth look of the plastic vs the real metal. it has numerous pieces, i think about 40. also, it was cheaper (about 120 shipped) if you'd like pics feel free to PM/email me.
