I'm with most people here.....the hood and wing are
the only two factors that dont really suit the car......the hood completely removes any personality the Maxima has( it does look like a Grand Am)

But nice paintjob, wheels, props on the dual exhaust (at least of all the people with the Sarona kit you have dual mufflers- although tuckin them higher would look cleaner), the fenders go well with the sarona kit, and I like the body colored sunroof deflector

Can your car fly with that wing? Just joking man, like the paint , the ghost flames, tint, rims, but your body kit looks cheap, your hood looks honda like, that wing.....well that wing just looks goofy!!!! Rip it off ASAP!!!!
Go back to stock, i have seen many wings on the max and stock looks the best.

Other than that good effort !

You see, this is what happens when a ricer Civic driver upgrades to a Maxima. Definitely a candidate for the ricer hall of fame.

The dual exaust Setup was not easy at all to get done and thats pertty much as far up as theyll sit because of the room that there was on the left side even after shifting the Carb Fuel Filter to the left and cutting into the spare tire wheel well.

Ok this will probably explain the whole rice and domestic look. Growing up i was raised around pure mussle cars with huge engines and alot of flame paint jobs. Then as my brother started to drive his first two cars were Honda Accords that he riced out. Need i say more?

ok...interesting take....but you do realize that even though "MAXIMA" and "MUSTANG" both start with the letter "M", they are two entirely separate cars with different personas attached

Grill - Uguly
Body Kit - Hideous
Spoiler - Ridiculous
Dual Exhaust - Stupidest mod you have
Z3 fenders - Why?
Hood Scoops - Kill yourself
Tail lights - Rice

Besides that, I like your rims and the tint looks good too.

Sorry bro, but I think your car is just a huge waste of $.

The cyt out on the right came like that already made. The one on left was cut out and he did a good job matching the other.

Rican-as much as I dislike what u've done to your car, I applaud your attitude about it and I also commend your choice in bodyshops...

dude did a bangup job installing everything-paint matches perfectly and seems line up great.

and from what I hear, you are a standup guy, which is in my book

Thank You Very Much! now alot of people think it looks hideous and if i wasnt into show cars i probably would be calling it all the names in the book as well but i had to do unique on my maxima because thats what win shows and there are plenty of other mods to come esp. performance ones. So it wont be all looks itll have some backing to the look. Ya the body shop did an excelent job on the car they were hating me as far as the body kit not being perfect but like ive said before anything can line up right if the body shop knows what there doing and dose a good job.

Interesting concept......hmmmn.... a bunch of followers with no personality, is that what you mean?

Everyone is entitled to mod their car to their liking, I welcome diversity in this forum, I dont talk down on it....Its apparent MaximaRican had the choice $$ wise
to do whatever he wanted to his car....and he chose to do the following- that I respect

Thats why his car is more likely to be in a car show and turn more heads

The only thing I sort of like are the rims. Everything else has got to go.

It looks like a really nice show car but if you do decide to do that, i think your paint has to be a little bit more eccentric. It border lines between "show" and street. Give it a new paint job or add some more graphics to add that "show" appeal.

Hood has gotta go...makes it look like a Grand Prix. Wing also needs to go. More isnt always better. I say if you are going to put alot of money into your car just make it look clean on the outside (few mods) and spend the bulk of your money on the engine.

I am sorry man, but....

i know yo uhave done a lot of work on the car, and have spent much money, but... I am just not feeling your whole car. i have the same thoughts as everyone else here.... THE WING HAS TO GO! it is so awful. hood scoops i could deal with... fenders, not good, flames... lol, no comment. i never like that particular body kit, but hey, what ever you like man. i have always like the "clean" looking maxima's.... and your is just the op.

but hey, if you like it man, congrats.

Since you already know my opinion on stuff like this from other threads....I will say:

"Looks like you've put alot of work into it, and I'm happy for you if your car has attained the look you are looking for. Personally, I can say the style is not for me and leave it at that. You gotta do what works for you and not worry what works for everyone else."

See how positive I kept it

But I notice soonerfan hasn't posted yet

Thank You. I know alot of people dont like it and think its ricey and before someone says not looks is yes that may be so but its what i wanted. Irish did you notice the dual exaust that soonerfan was swearing was imposible to do? I want to hear his opinion and what he has to say for it actually being done.

but, to get more specific....the kit looks decent-from your previous posts I expected something much more ricey, but it's actually pretty clean.

I do not like the hood...I think the car would look pretty good if not for the hood and tail.

I like the rims and tint....the paint job is not my thing but looks well-done.

And here's an idea - lose the fart cans on the back and put twin 3" exahust tips/pipes on each side - that would look really good.

Again, these are my own opinions. All that matters is that it looks good to you, and I'm sure it fits in well down in Florida and turns heads. Just don't bring it up to Washington DC!

Rican, as to the dual exhaust, I'd like to see some underneath photos - is it a "true" dual exhaust - i.e. coming directly off the headers with two pipes all the way back?
