H.Tech and Illumina Drop Pics!

As promised, here's the befores and afters - keep in mind it has been 36 hours since they have been installed, I assume they will settle slightly - I'll make a new thread in about two weeks with the final pics after they have settled. I just ordered my tires today for my 19's, so in about two weeks they'll be installed. Pics then, too.

Enjoy!

Looks great CCx. Love the H-tech drop - Very even! Already a noticable drop - Anyone who can't see the difference in front wheel gap just isn't looking. Also, the shadow's in the pics mask the drop a bit. And don't worry, they'll settle. How's the ride?

The front drop is noticable, the back hardly looks like it dropped.

Thats the best part....the rear is lower to begin with stock....the front evens it out.....dont forget also weight from Audio will sag the rear and there cant be anything more embarrasing than the day when you have 2-3 adults in the rear and you bottom out while driving in an a Maxima

I think it looks great. Takes care of the front wheel gap very nicely, I see these in my near future. How is the ride quality? and do you have any stereo equipment in your trunk?

I see the drop. But it's hard to see because CCx didn't take the same angled pics for before and after. :\

Those piece of sh-t Ground Controls should not be called coilovers or springs.. if anyone hates their car enough, they should by all means waste their money for them. I can't believe they make sh-t like this for cars..

They are sitting in my house somewhere.. they are f-cked.. the adjustment screws are all rusted out and the rings are copper, they barely turn. These things are pure garbage.. i broke one adjustment screw in the rear and i can no longer turn the front adjustment screws, they are seized up because i haven't touched them in a while.

they blew 1 of my struts and possibly f-cked up another one..

i am on maxspeeds for now, then i may decide to go lower after i get my lip put on and see if i clear driveways or not..

1. Sorry I didn't stand in the EXACT same position before and after. Next time I'll make sure to mark the exact spot.

2. To those who have JIC's and S.Tech's, OF COURSE IT DOESNT LOOK LOWER THAN YOURS. Get over yourself. I live on top of 3 large hills, and my driveway is a VERY large hill. I GOT WHAT I WANTED WITH THIS DROP. If it doesn't please you, that's cool, because I didn't buy it for you.

3. Thanks for all the responses It fixed the front gap, the back stayed pretty much the same. Again, it's what I wanted, it's perfect for what I was looking for, I wasn't looking for the have my bumper scrape the ground whenever I go near a hill look, and that's not what I got, woo-hoo!

P.S. The ride quality is excellent - not much different than stock, depends on how I set the struts - right now they are at 2F/3R - there is nothing harsh about the ride of the H.Tech's, I highly reccommend them, you'll enjoy the heck out of them.

I can tell a big difference in the front and the back is slightly lower. I think they are a perfect substitute for H&R's. Looks much better than stock and no rear sag.

Touchy. It just looked like the before pics were taken crouching, and the after pics were taken standing.

Not touchy, just responding to picky

To clarify, the 'left' pics were taken half-standing/half-crouching on the embankment that borders my driveway - the 'right' pics were taken again half-standing/half-crouching but on a different angle of my driveway, and the car was parked roughly 15 feet closer in the 'after' pic on the right side.

I suggest you start golfing with some friends and keep their clubs in YOUR trunk as well, that way you can drop the a$$ a bit lower.....

No thank you, I'm satisfied with my drop.

In the event that someone wants to keep their clubs in my car, that's all well and good, but I won't be concerned with the drop at that point, I'll be concerned about whooping them on the course
