X-pel Headlight Protection

Hi All,
I received my X-Pel headlight protection kit today. If your not familier, It's a kit containing custom cut 30ml thick 3M material that protects the entire plastic headlight lens surface from "sandblasting" over time, chipping, or even breaking from road debris impact. The kit also includes pieces that cover and protect the fog light lenses that we all know break way to easy from what I think is debris impact, not light filiment heating. The kit was about $50 shipped. It also includes a sgueegy for installation. It even includes a 4 year warrantee against yellowing and will pay $1000 if the light unit is damaged from debris after installation. Installing it should be similar to the 3M Clear Bra but easier to manage as the material is much thicker.
I hope to do the installation this weekend, and I will update this thread with the results. I will also get back to you with a link to their site ASAP.
I have benefitted from other posts on product reviews etc. and thought a report on this one might assist others, in return.

I had this done on my Max when I had my clear bra installed 2 1/2 years ago. Can't really tell that it's there and no yellowing. Peace of mind ...

Thanks for that update. That's good to hear. I may wait until I have an 80 degree or so day to install them. They say a hot day when the sun can heat up both the material and the headlight lens is best (to make the material more pliable). They also suggest a blow dryer can be used. I may try that approach...

If anyone else has installed this, any tips would be appreciated, Thanks

An installer once told me he always used rubber gloves to avoid fingerprints on the adhesive side.
