I changed the in cabin microfilter.. as you know you have to remove the glove compartment and disconnected the airbag wires and glove compartment light wires..I installed the new filter and connected the plugs for the airbag and light, and I made sure that the plugs are connected..I hear when the airbag is disconnected the computer will do this where the dealer has to reset it. Is this true?

the instruction to replace the in cabin micro filter specifically says NOT to disconnect the airbag connectors. I am glad I finally followed instruction for the first time.

 

You should not have to disconnect the SRS harness to get the glove box out of the way. You are supposed to disconnect the clip that mounts the harness to it.
