Good place to get an alignment?
I am approaching 12,000 miles on the Max, and I need to get an alignment because the insides of the front tires are wearing more than everywhere else. Plus I never aligned after I got the drop, so I figure I should do it pretty soon. I also need to get a nail hol patched (nail is stuck inside the right rear tire, in between the treads, right in the middle if the tire. Don't know how long its been there, but the tire has not lost any air). I also need to get a rotation. Bridgestone stores offer free rotation for Bridgestone tire owners, so I am leaning towards going there. Are those places decent for simple work like this, or should I go somewhere else? Thanks.
I have had good luck at Firestone, plus you can buy a lifetime alignment its worth it if youre going to keep the car. I've had 2 or 3 lifetime alignments from them for different cars, I take it in every 6 mos or so, especially after a snow or summer tire change over. Hope this helps.
If you demand PRECISION, I highly recommend Custom Alignment. http://www.customalignment.com/ They charge $95 to align the front tires on Maxima.
