common problem?

2000 SE w. 63k miles

i filled it about 2 weeks ago and it was noticably lower, well below the hot/cold minimum lines on the reservoir. so i topped it off again. it doesnt seem to be leaking onto the ground however, im afraid its getting on the belts because they are right under the braided hose

 

I had a power steering line leak on my 2K at about 40K miles. They had to replace one of the lines. Cost I think $250. Don't know how common it is. They saw it during an oil change.
