What speed at 2500 rpm
ummmm it depends on what gear the tranny is in!!!
rpm will equal diffirent speeds in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and OD.
and i know you said "cruising on the highway" that still doesnt indicate a gear. i could be "cruising" behind a grandma and my rpms are 2500 but im only going 40 because im in second gear

Let's not forget different wheel sizes, for those of you who +1, +2 or +3 your tires.
Why not just set cruise at whatever speed and time a 20-30-40 mile run on the highway, using the highway markers. Over that distance any error in the placement of the mile markers will be negligible.
Simple math will get you your real speed which you can compare to whatever you set your cruise at.
