01se Sunroof problem

Ok, I went through a gas station car wash and noticed that water was coming in on the driver side door (I dont know what you call this area, but it is the plastic thing that runs up your windshield from the dash to the door, then you have felt after that...there is also a little speaker on this part) and it leaked at the top where the plastic meets the felt. So I took it to troncalli nissan (people who are supposed to service my car under warranty). They wanted to charge me 250 to unclog my sunroof drain??? I didnt know that there was a sunroof drain, I thought it just ran down the side of the car. Well, they charged me $100 for lookin at it. My question is, does anyone know how to do this uncloggin part without me having to pay $250. Nissan says it is not included in the aftermarket warranty that I bought, even though I think it should be since its not my screwup...but who knows...I purchased the QualityGuard Plus+ 24K/2years...so far I have not seen what the point of me buying this was since everything I have asked them to fix is costing me money...

At the same time, my map light had burned out, they charged $5, I did get them to replace my rear taillight since I know it was working when I brought it in, cuz I replaced it. They said it is $60 to replace stuff in my trunk in which they blame the guy who owned the car before me because he installed xm radio. I asked them to find out where the metal squeaking is coming from when I make a hard turn or go up in a driveway, they responded by saying the couldnt duplicate it, and therefore would not fix it.

I may be wrong, but I always thought when you buy a used car at the dealer, they are supposed to make sure there is nothing wrong with the car...ie missing trunk things, no metallic squeaking, and the sunroof drain is unclogged. Does anyone know if they are required by law to fix this under my warranty? Or if I have a case because they wont fix things I feel should have been fixed before I bought the car?

Beyond that, does anyone know the process of unclogging my driver side door so it doesnt leak...I do not believe it leaks in heavy downpour - only when goin through a car wash, but it isnt supposed to leak.

TIA

Ok, found out what that plastic thing on the side is, I believe its called the A-Pillar. I would just like to know where this sunroof drain is that they are gonna clean??? I know it leaks at the top of the A-Pillar, I guess I could just take it off and see what I see...

There are two drain lines, one goes through the front pillar and exits under the front of the driver's side door and other exits at rear bumper. Sounds like the front drain line may have come off from the sunroof pan or it has a leak. Unfortunately the only way to check is to remove the headliner on that side.

hmmm, how do you remove the headliner? (unless you are talking about the felt on the hood, cuz im pretty sure they didnt remove that)...Also, where does the front exit? sorry but under the front is a little hard to understand...as I said, I have this metal piece that looks like it could be a drain, but nothing is attached to it, and I sure hope thats not the drain because wouldnt it cause mildew in the A-pillar? Thank you for your help though, I do appreciate it.

I had a drain out of place, the one in the back of the roof of the car. Fixed under warranty with no problems. Also only leaked when going through carwash. You should just go to another dealer.

The headliner is the cloth roof covering inside the car. That needs to be removed to gain access to the drain tubing and sunroof pan.
