Hmm, I didn't know there was a mod out there like this. I never actually looked at my car, I figured that the front ones DID flash with the turn signals, either alternately or together.

I'll probably do this for my fronts, but not for the rears.

Can someone please describe the end result of the rewire? What actually changes with the use of your directionals after the mod? I read the mod hoping it would say what it achieves...

Thanks

It gives you better torque and horse power. It makes you side markers blink when you put on your turning signals, Not high low but on off. Look at the video link

I haven't done this mod and I already understand how it works. LOL

If you do the mod, here's what happens.

With your running lights ON:

The side markers will flash ALTERNATELY with your turn signals/hazards. When the signals/hazards aren't running, they'll stay on like normal running lights.

With running lights OFF:

Your sidemarkers will flash SIMULTANEOUSLY with your turn signals/hazards. When signals/hazards are off, sidemarkers will be off.

Also, your sidemarker bulbs are single-filament bulbs. Your turn signal/running light bulbs are dual filament.

In dual filament bulbs, one filament is high intensity and one low. In single filament bulbs, they're just on/off. So doing this mod means that regardless of whether your running lights are on or not, the sidemarkers will only function as on/off.
