What are my options for rear valence/lip besides the Stillen one? (Link to Stillen rear)

I dunno why but I don't really like the way the Stillen rear looks.

 

Thats how I felt, but I bought it anyway and have no regrets. It looks a lot more subtle on a superblack.

 

Stillen's rear looks awesome, especially with their exhaust. Check out my home page for pics. I don't think anyone else makes just a lip. Sarona makes a whole bumper, though.

 

What about the stock anniv edition body kit? that one actually looks really nice. Anybody out there ever install one on a 5.5 gen?

 

I was quoted $460 for the AE rear (unpainted) @ Star Nissan. I was also told that there would be a minor fittment issues w/ the gen5.5 stock exhaust.

I'll probably get the Stillen rear and I'll just bondo the holes.... the holes are what kills it for me. I drive a Maxima, not a cheese grater.

 

JerryRome doesn't sell the complete rear. The comlete rear set consists of 3 pieces, they only sell 2. I also looked into it before purchasing the Stillen.

PS - I agree about the holes, but their not as bad as I thought. If you're ever around Astoria or Bayside, I can meet up w/ you and let you see for yourself.

 

I think the AE three piece rear is ugly. Love the Stillen rear.

 

I love the Stillen rear, with an exhaust its just that much nicer. Like 2k2nyc said on darker cars it looks best because you don't notice the holes as much.

stillen rear is way clean. If you don't like it, there's sarona or any body shop...

I'm about to order the stillen. Wouldn't order it from Stillen's website.... they charge $70 for shipping. SWA has it for $275 shipped and I found another place that is $258 w/ free shipping. I'll give you the link when I get home.

wildmanal, did you modify your grille tech inserts to fit with the stillen lip?

 

2k2nyc - No man I didn't. I originally had black grille tech inserts and tried to mod them to make them fit. I pulled that trim arond the inserts off and cut the metal grille down, but ended up cutting too much off. I then bought these titanium colored ones from another org member. It's a really tight fit, but it works.
