i bought the rear sway bar from custommaxima about 2 years ago and i havent had time to install it ....long story....anyway i tried to do it the other day and i noticed that the threads on the u-bolts do go high enough on the bracket.. it stops midway and just dangles there ... did i get the wrong hardware or am i doing something wrong here.. even the little bolts on the side dont seem to fit... if i did get the wrong hardware can i get these pieces from any home depot or am i stuck with a sway bar i cant use.... do u think if i go to a performance shop they can install it without using 1 million washers?
thankts for the input

you can get the hardware from home depot. just bring in your u bolts to see if they have the same bend radius for them, and you can get a longer length. as for the hardware on the side, well, I recently installed my progress sway bar and I think the bolts were either 5/16 or 3/8 x 1.25 or 1.5".

that means, the diameter is 5/16 or 3/8 and the length from the head of the bolt is either 1.25 or 1.5. I forget, but it is either of those sizes. just measure the diameter of the brackets and see what will fit in there, and you should be good to go
