I received these instructions . . .

from Y2KevSE. He posted them back on 7/21/00:

1) Pull out all the plastic plugs on the sides under your car.

2) Pull out the guards . . . not all the way, just enough for you to get in.

3) Unscrew 1 nut/screw (forgot which one) and push the lamp out.

4) Make sure you catch it from the other side because it's going to drop.

5) Take out the bulb and put the new one in.

6) Go in reverse order for reinstallation.

Hope that helps.

Fog Lights

I just did this today to install my PIAA fog lights. I will say this was a pain in the *** for something so simple.

The previous post's instructions were good, but I could not get the plastic things out holding the liner in place I removed two screws holding the wheel well guard (plastic thing lining the wheel well). I removed the screw closest to the front and the one almost directly above the wheel. There was one screw mid way between the tire and the front bumpter underneath which I also removed. At this point you can stick your arm in there.

I had to giggle the wheel well lining and somewhat pry it about so I could stick one arm in there to reach forward to the foglight assembly. It was stated in previous directions to "unscrew the screw". If you look in there (maybe with a flashlight) you will see a long screw with a white head. This is the foglight adjustment screw. Do not mess with this.

The screw in reference is underneath the fog light assembly. I think I used a 10mm open ended wrench (ractchet and socket won't fit).

I also had to push slightly on the pointy things of the fog light assembly (if you look in there you will see them keeping the fog light assembly level and snug) with a screw driver to get the assembly out.

The passenger side is a little differnet in that the windshield washer reservoir in blocking your view from looking in there. I would recommend starting on the driver side so you can get a visual reference as to what you were doing. The other side is easy after doing one side.

Yes, it's simple once you figure out how to do it. Took me a whole day to figure the < 5 minute process.
