OEM Keyless Entry/Alarm Problem

I have a 2001 SE and a couple of days ago I noticed that when I arm the alarm using the keyfob the horn doesn't sound. I hit the panic button and the alarm goes off but I don't get that slight horn chirp when arming. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Do read the back of the remote. There is an instruction there on how to chirp the horn and disable it when you arm the alarm.

Does this work on the 2K2/2K3 FOB too? There aren't any instructions on the back of mine.
