Custom Size Eibach Springs?
Why doesn't Eibach offer a Sportline Kit with more drop than the Prokit like they do on other cars?
Is there a clearance issue? However, don't the H&R's give you a 2+ inch drop?
The reason I'm asking is that there is a race shop around the corner from my house that sells custom length, rate, and ID Eibach springs for racing applications. So, I could possibly get a slightly lower combination of drop than the Prokits and I wouldn't need to up my rims to 18" to fill the fender gap. He said they are from $45-$65 a spring unless it's something wild.
Just a thought, but what size, rate, and ID should I shoot for? What are these dimensions for the Prokits? I might just get the same rate and ID, but a little shorter length.

Is this possible?
I don't think that is possible. Besides, if it's lowered too much, your cambers will be off. Eibach doesn't make it any lower for a reason.
Don't believe most of those performance stores... They are mostly into Hondas and Acuras and wouldn't know much about Maximas. Well thats how all the performance stores in my area are.

My question is how low is not TOO LOW? What drop do the other springs give?
The DIFFICULT part is determining the EXACT specifications I need him to TRY and match. If I know the rate, ID(???), and length, he will try and match up what I want with what's available from Eibach. Basically, I want to go with the same rate, ID, but a slightly shorter length for about a 2" drop. Also, I don't want the springs to be too short or they will not be kept under tension after rebounding over bumps and will rattle around. I would like to use these with Cattmans' adjustable camber plates(add 1" of travel), but I'm not too sure how compatible they are. I saw them on his 4th gen and he emailed me about trying his upcoming 5th gen setup, but I'm looking for a cheaper setup without comprimising ALL my suspension travel.
Someone have any of the specs listed on their Prokit box or somewhere?
