I already purchased a AE shift **** and i had the dealer install it during the 1,000 mile service. (can you beleive they lost my stock ****! i am pissed) How much are AE sills amd pedals (5 speed)? I want to purchse them, and i kinda want to put them in myself. Is it difficult? Thanks

I can't believe they lost it. I would make them buy me a new one! After all, you did pay for it when you bought the car. About the sill plates..Give Dave Burnette a call at Southpoint Nissan. His number is 1(888)254-6060. They should run you about 60 dollars with shipping, and they are really really easy to install. All you do is pry off the old ones with either a screwdriver, or your fingers, and pop the new ones right in. I've heard the pedals are a little bit on the tough side to install, but trying doing a search, because I remember someone posting about how to install them the easiest. You can also get these from Dave.

There is no "1000 mile" service specified in the owners manual. Most people get an oil change at that point as it is the end of the break in period and any excess metal that may have been in the engine gets flushed. (Though these days there shouldn't be any)

I also felt it was a good $30 insurance policy.
