2001 Front grille

What are my options for replacing my main grille in my 01 max? Seems that most grilles are only available for 2002's

We are a bit more limited since the grille is part of the front end. You can either get something that will fit in front of your stock grille, cut the grille out, or buy a whole new front end like this...

I believe i saw someone selling a mesh grille for a 2000-2001 Maxima where you just clip it on your existing grille and therefore you dont need to cut out your existing grille. Maybe someone has this type of grille and can post pics for you

LOL! Actually, its my new book shelf... I'm doing a Monster House-type theme using after market Maxima parts. I'm using teins as legs on my bed

jk. I was trying to show someone what the mesh looked like, so I used a piece of black material behind it. The board was so short I had to use the books to prop it up

I just can't stand the look of mesh grills. They are so plain and boring. I much rather prefer the aggressive grill on the 02 and the ones you can also find a Mazda 6 sport. I wish they made a grill for an 01 that looked like an 02.

Mine is Street Scene and I put it over the existing grill and relocated the Nissan hamburger-type badge.

You know your prolly gonna laugh but i love the product and think it looks great...but there inserts...there like these chrome tube things that slide on to the pillars in the grill and inside the tube is 3m stickey stuff and it wont come off so once you stick its there.....But i got the kit for $20 off ebay...i dont care what people say its good quality stuff and looks like its the grill it self you cant tell there inserts...but took me 15 min to install...a little triming was nessisary... but i like it heres the link for anyone who wants one...

I wouldn't have trimmed them down. Hell, I wish they were just a bit wider. I may look into that...
