How To Adjust Tension Of Emergency Brake?

Hi, Everyone.

My emergency/parking brake lever has a bit of a loose feel to it, and I was just wondering how to adjust the tension.

I assume I have to remove the boot, but how do I remove it without damaging it?

Thanks.

On a 2003 you pull the lever all the way up and at the bottom front of the lever there is a 10mm adjustment screw you can reach with a deep well socket. Otherwise it is under the car behind a heat shield.
