Leaving the Maxima world

It was sad to see the maxima for the last time this morning as I was heading to school.....my dad returned the maxima back to the dealership this afternoon as the new BMW 545 will be ready for pick-up on Friday.....

It's quite sad because the Maxima was my first car, and people are always tied to their first chance of freedom..... ..the only good thing I guess is that the M3 will be all free for me now and it'll be my daily driver

Thanks for all the help over the years guys, I haven't posted much on here for the last 6 months....(been real busy).....for some reason, all the maxima owners are so nice...... ....i've asked so many questions on here where....if I were on some other forums, i'd get my *** flamed off

I'll be sure to remember that smooth VQ growl and give all the maximas the respect they deserve.

PEACE god bless

So whats happening to the Maxima? Traded in? If so, I'd be curious to know what they gave you for a trade-in value.
Good luck.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine: dad turned in his 328Ci for a 745Li and gave him the X5 4.4. As with my friend, not a bad deal 2M0A0X2.

Who knows, you could probably purchase a used 5.5G in couple of years and use it as your beater.

Peace.

Not to change the subject but, it looks like that dealer has an E24 6 series (background in white):

I'd love to have one of those classics in my garage.

Peace.

No doubt! I would love a 635ci! I looked for a nice one for my dad a few months back. What a classic.

is the m3 OBD I? if it is see if you can get a track pipe. My friend got one for his (95?) and according to dynos got a 30hp gain! Not bad for $400! I drove his car and man nite and day difference. Then get an x-brace - a must. Good luck bro...

naw man, it's a 98, so it's got a 3.2 and it's OBDII.......I think the first time I'm going to do is change out that amber tailight for the red/clear ones, and then perhaps lower it w/ H&R sport......then we can talk performance

Nope - that's just an old-school 3 Series. In fact I had one just like it (but silver). That one is about an 86-87 model.
