I love mine as well. Get 'em from Paradox. Excellent speedy service and straight from the source. They look awesome in the sunlight:

They also shimmer at night. Oh, and a how-to is on my site.

Okay, I put chrome rings on my '95 and said I was not going to mess with this on my '02. Now you got me goin' on this. To be honest, I hated the process in the '95. When removing the black surround, Damn metal clips sprung out of the back to never be found again. Anyone have this prob in Gen 5??

Actually, yeah, one of the clips came off mine when I removed the plastic surrounding the gauges. It's no biggie, I just removed it slowly and paid attention where the clip fell so I could pop it back on.

My clips (I believe it was two of them) went into a time warp to never, ever be found again. I heard them rest somewhere, evidentally somewhere inside the dash housing (such horror for a quality freak)to never be reached again, luckily never developed any rattles! That surround on my '95 was in very snug. I had to pull with all my might. Then wham, zoom, gone. Then I said "oh Fudge".

Yup. How-to on my site. As mentioned above. And for you guys who lost the clips, I'd almost guarantee they're resting on the silver metal braces that run down each side of the wheel under the dash. I should've taken a pic, but I lost a socket and finally found it there.
