I had that done to my car too a few months back...though not as severe as yours. I suspect that it must be those damn jealous bastard who probably envy our Maxima's.

Dude, that's fft-up! Some people don't deserve to live. Sorry. Hope it wasn't a vengeful ex.

That's probably going to cost you in the neighborhood of $1500 to $2000 if you want it done right.

Why Why Why. They need to be caught and spend some time behind bars and pay major fines for that crap.

Yah my friend got his black explorer horribley keyed. Every fender was keyed and he cought the person that did it, and it cost him 2 grand for it. Have you filed a police report yet, if not i would do so because if you catch those bastards then they pay and suffer the conisquences.

And with the great justice system we have. When you beat the person who keyed your car, you will be the one who ends up being arrested and sued!!!

No offense to anyone here who may be a cop or is related to a cop, but they can't do crap for you.

My friend sold a set of wheels to someone and he gave him a counterfiet cahsier's check. Called the cops, they took a report and nothing.....

A month later after he did a lot of investigating on his own, he finds the guy. Gets his FULL NAME, HOME ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, and STILL the cops won't do $hit.

He is basically handing over a criminal that is doing check fraud AND grad theft and they won't arrest him??? WTF?

ur friend is going to the wrong people. Ur friend needs to go to a federal agency for that stuff. Also, even though time consuming, ur friend should take it to a claims court.

Sorry to hear that this happened. I had something similar happen, but on a lesser scale, about 1.5 months ago. I have not fixed the scratch yet for 2 reason: 1) it happened at a time when I had a lot of things going on and I didn't have time to fix it (got an estimate though) 2) chances are, they will come back for another go at it as soon as your new paint dries.

Don't make any rash decisions while you're all heated; go get an estimate from a good bodyshop, but one that you might have connections with (I won't go into details, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about). When you have an estimate, sit on it for a while. Like a month. Wait for it all to calm and settle, and then get it taken care of through insurance. Most insurance companies will not raise your raise on comprehensive damages like these, especially if it's a first time claim, so you should use that to your advantage. If your body shop gets the estimate to be slightly inflated, you may end up paying nothing out of pocket (not even your deductable). Good luck.

I always keep my car in the garage. The one time I let it sit out for a minute, someone keys it. I am getting it touched up when I take it in for my stillen body kit install.
