Brakes or suspension...which should be next?

I don't really need either but plan on doing upgrades to both the brake system and suspension (springs/struts with a subtle drop) in the near future. Any advantage or conventional wisdom in doing one before the other? I'm leaning towards a high-end brake system upgrade first.

suspension first

Then (if u got the big rims) blehmco BBK with 300 zx calipers : ]

I'm still debating getting some bigger rims, or going with his 5th gen caliper option.

I'd go with the suspension first, Chris. Don't get me wrong....both are good mods, but with the suspension stuff you'll get rid of the Maxes wheel gap, reduce wheel hop and notice better handling. Just my $.02.

It's really up to you. I started suspension first, then did brakes, though I'm still not really done with suspension. I think brakes should be done first because they are the safety feature you use in ordinary street driving as well as extreme driving, whereas good handling suspension is really only mandatory for more "spirited" driving, while a halfass suspension is halfass workable for regular street driving.
Just my 2*10^-2 dollars.

I would say suspension. It can really transform the way the Maxima feels
