I'm revving at just under 2500rpms at 100kmh(62.5mph) in 5th gear

is this right? i'm just bewildered because my TL revved at 2000 at 120 kmh(75mph)

somehow i figure something is wrong....

 

You do know that every car DON'T have the same tranny, right!!!!! It's just a different gear ratio, and I think the TL was a 5speed auto as well, 5 gen maxima's were only 4speed auto, in which, going 60mph is around 2000rpm, but 75mph is close to 3krpm.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

shyt, I rev over 3k at 80....

 

I rev 2900 RPM at 90 MPH but that's in an 03 6sp.

i just thought that since the maxima tranny was comparable to the great ones out there, yada yada yada.....


so i guess my rev is about right then.
