That's not the Skyline bodykit. This was what the skyline kit was supposed to be modeled after:

Looks a little nose heavy to me, but I've seen worse. The stamped logos just scream "point at me and laugh!!" There should really be a "powered by Nissan" logo stamped in there somewhere as well.

It's not that bad - at least it's different. I haven't seen anything better than the (very) subtle AE kit, but I don't like a lot of flash.

I dont mind the front, kinda cool, little too flashy for me, but not bad. Sides are fine, not much difference there, and the rear is crappy IMO. The fitment looks nice tho, and I give custommaxima props for going out on a limb producing a different kit for the Maxima. Hopefully they'll sell and bring some revenue to make more products

I dont like the stamped name idea, kinda like a JT Evo kit but way more obvious!!

It completley remodles the cars natural curves, dont know if thats good or bad till I see it in person, its too hard to judge.....

Pir8 97: the Back cam out soooo sik!! they had to custom fabricate an extra hole on the left side, which came out looking better than the original one, and there is no gap at all. so i was very pleased with thier work.

Slow Moe: yeah the CM kit is all Fiber Glass.

also, i KINDA like the front on that kit, but the MAIN problem with it is it kinda looks cut and pasted onto the maxima. Whoever designed it had absolutely no regard for retaining the original lines of the car or flowing with them.

BUT by far the biggest problem of all is the fact that the sideskirts are no where near the style or the size of the front or the rear bumper.. the lines don't flow and that throws the whole thing off.. The front bumper doesn't really look like it fits too well either, kinda lopsided.

*****, you are right... The lines matter. The sideskirts suck... Maybe if we all email them and tell them what it needs, maybe they can fix it.. anyone know if that will work?

I really don't like the VIS aka Sarona kit. I really hope that CM was gonna make the real Skyline bodykit like the white Maxima that was photo chopped by MaximaZero. Btw bijan gxe my front bumper is by Stillen and I still think it's the best looking front bumper for our 5th gen Max IMO.

The photoshop looks good because its a photoshop. If you have ever taken your front bumper off, you will clearly see why it is very hard to make a good looking skyline style front end. Theres a huge metal brace on the frame, and the open mouth of the bumper can only go so far up, before that brace gets in the way. If you make the upper grill any smaller, then you end up with too much area between the upper grill and the lower grill i.e. JT Kit. Only way to shrink the upper grill, and to bring the lower grill higher up like on the photoshopped picture, would be to remove that brace behind the bumper, and design the kit to be put on without it.

One way to accomadate the 'open mouth' look is to simulate it using a blacked out portion on the bumper, similar to how the Mitsubishi Eclipse factory bumper does it.

The mouth appears wide, but upon closer inspection, you will notice that there's a piece covering the metal brace in black to make the mouth appear wider than it actually is.

I'm not trying to trash custommaxima because i appreciate what they have already done for us and I'm also a customer of theirs, but they should really know better.

CM did do a poll about those 2 kits (Stealth's & MaximaZero's)..IIRC MaximaZero's kit narrowly won in the poll, but a lot of ppl were saying they'd definitely buy the kit if it looked more like Stealth's so that's why CM went w/that.

yeah, i think stealths was a little too flashy, Maximazero's photoshop was much more bland in the styling that made the maxima look very good..

Well if my corrsespondence with them is correct, they have been working on both bumpers (mine and stealth's), not just one design.
