PBC grease = bearing grease?

PBC grease = bearing grease?
For those who know.. are they the same? (see subject).
going to change my brakes soon and wondering if they are different.
FSM states to use PBC (Poly Butyl Cuprysil) grease on the backside of the rubber coated shim and the backside of the shim cover.
