I replaced the TCM today and it took it for a drive. The thing ran like crap it sputtered along and would slam into the next gear I immediately pulled over to shut it off. I screamed **** **** **** and turned it back on. (Kind of like what Michael J. Fox did in Back to the Future) Anyway, when I drove it again the hesitation stopped and the thing ran ok. The new TCM is from a 2001 Max I guess the shift points are a little different because it feels weird. Is my car going to be ok? I haven't driven it hard to see if the 2-3 shift delay is gone. I guess I'm a little afraid of what happened before. Anybody swap a 2001 TCM into a 2000 Max?
