The only thing I can sugest to ALL of you guys is, if you buy something, and you see it doesnt fit properly, DONT INSTALL IT . That will save you lots of headaches. In the world of retail, return policies have changed greatly. For the most part, anything you buy, that you install, YOU KEEP....Plain and simple. Blk2kMAXSE is probably correct, that he got a bad set. He should've just returned them.

Oh yeah fosheezy... Like I was saying above, not everyone that buys a Honda gets a 100 percent reliable car.. theres some that have everything wrong with them.. The biggest problem here money.. and its a huge issue, neither side can afforf to take a hit, so theres a deadlock... And I agree that LC Tuning shouldnt assume that LAM installed it wrong because I was asking myself why both sides didnt fall off... And its not like Lam wants a refund, just what he paid for.. and the sad part is LC Tuning is a small company without a huge financial backing.. which cause more frustration.

yeah, some places now charge a 15 percent restocking fee.... I dont even remember that a while back.. I guess companies were taking huge losses because customers bought things and returned them at will.. Dont you all wish we could just make walmart take all our hits? (j/k)

All,
Only LeftCoast and Blk2k will ever know the real story, we can go on for days speculating what happened. What it boils down to is business practice. Sometimes businesses have to take certain losses to keep customers happy. I am not saying either side is right as I stated before only the two parties involved know the truth. However it is my opinion that it maybe in LeftCoast best interest to have Blk2k send back the broken eyelid and either try to repair if possible or offer another one at a discounted price, free, etc.

LeftCoast I am sure you know that us ORGER's appreciate what you have done for our rides, however being in business has certain responsibilities that just come with the territory. If your customers are trying to scam you that is also part of the game and at the end of the day that person has to deal with their self consience, however think just for a second that what if Blk2k has a legit issue!

I understand once again that we don't know the whole story nor will we ever, but is all this bad publicity worth $45 (one eyelid)?

This is just my personal opinion.

Anybody with 2k2 headlights on their 2k-2k1's have any clearance issues with the grill? It looks like I may have to trim some of the grill for them to fit.
ok i viewed this thread to see pics of the eyelids, not to see the normal BS org drama!

OK, LOOK AT POST #1 YOU MIGHT WANT TO DELETE YOUR POST BEFORE YOU GET

i didnt ask the same question. most of the BS is from members not being able to READ correctly!

the thread starter wanted to see pics of members who have eyelids on the 2K2 HIDS on the 00-01 maximas. some have an issue with the eyelid fitting where the HIDS come into contact with the front grill. i know what the eyelids look like on 2K2 HIDS with 2K2 bumpers but not the other way around.

so once again, PLEASE READ ORGINIAL POST IN THREAD!

THANK YOU!

Sorry redstradic, yeah I'm an idiot. My gf is here and the ***** won't shut up and is making me not in a good mood. Damn I can't believe this thread got that off topic. These eyelids have already been proven to work with 01" with 02' headlights. I'll find them and post em up for people.

im not sure if u understand that these are made from a mold and the fitment of one set doesnt guarantee the fitment of another. every set is made individually. after each set, the mold progressively becomes worse and worse. its not as simple as, one set fits so they all fit.

Wildmanal, who's car is this? Do you know if the grille on a 2k-2k1 has to be trimmed for the eyelids to fit?

Thanks

This has to be the last post from us regarding this matter.

If you reread the lengthy post on page 1, I was saying that you could jump to certain conclusions. However, we are NOT neccessarily taking that stand. Normally this would be a simple inspection and replacement. Problem is that what he did essentially violates any warranty we could offer.

As far as replying to PM's and Emails, we went back and forth probably over 10 times. We will NOT be posting these or dragging this matter on anymore.

Blk2kMaxSE: Email us at sales@leftcoasttuning.com if you want to send it back to the manufacturer directly. By "it" I mean both the eyelid you ran over, as well as the other one that you claim "doesn't fit" either. We'll have him take a look and let him have the final say.

That was an intro GD so that these eyelids could even exist. Then the manufcaturer raised prices on us, so at this point, the regular price is already very good.
