*PICS* Cattman SS Muffler installed and Berk re-installed today.

Well after working all night last night and not sleeping this morning when I got home from work, I can say that this installation went pretty easily, and there wasn't too much swearing either Had to modify the OEM mid pipe flange a bit to be able to get the Cattman flange to meet up. All of this will be null and void when I upgrade to the Cattman B (mid) pipe shortly. Purchased new hangers from Auto Zone to stiffen up the muffler itself.

Now on to the important stuff...sound difference vs. the OEM muffler. I was too excited to even wait to have it off the jack stands before I started the car so I could hear it. Right away I noticed a much deeper note and I knew that this was money well spent. I listened to the muffler before re-installing my Berk Intake, and it really didn't sound as deep as what I thought it might, but after re-installing the Berk, I had a big grin on my face. I haven't driven it too much and have yet to take it on the freeway, so we'll see if my smile continues.

Anyways, here are a few pics I took (sorry my car is really dirty...been raining a ton here in Columbus the last week).

OEM vs. Cattman

Nice messy garage.

Finished product (kinda dark)

Nice going Tim ! I would say , if you're trying to keep noise to a minimum, the Cattman or Frankencar , are the way to go for sure !

Maybe when I run into an excess of money I'll replace my stock muff with tips. Until them I'm really happy with how it looks while still being in silence. I'll just wait until some lonely soul sells their's so I can get it at a cheap price.

looks good, I like it! Man, that Cattman muffler is way smaller comparing to stock one, unlike Frankencar I have dammit. Enjoy it and some HIGH quality, long nice soundclips wouldn't hurt

After doing some freeway driving in the last couple of days since installation, I've found that the Cattman does not produce any type of drone that some might consider annoying. After going WOT a few times, my smile has gotten much wider. Very pleased and cannot wait to add the b pipe.

yep, i got the cattman rear section also, and i love it
once it warms up the muffler has anice deep rumble to it and sounds so good, on the highway your are barely able to tell there is an aftermarket muffler on the car

And I typically have my stereo turned up to a level that I wouldn't be able to hear it anyways on the freeway, but you are 100% correct. No drone at all.

I just had my cattman catback setup, put on this weekend. It sounds amazing, and if those wondered, with the hotshot headers, this setup is LOUD, and i mean loud as hell. I love it!

Previously i had just the warpspeed b pipe and stock rear section with the headers, and the car wasn't half as loud.

I just had one question, does anyone have any idea why my SES light keeps going on, since the exhaust system went in?

We reset the computer, and it came back 2 days later.

I have the cattman y-pipe and the full cattman catback. I absolutly love it. It to a while to get used to how loud it is, but it's got a deep rumble that I love. Can't wait to see what it sounds like with the Cattman headers on...
