slight rattle on cold start

hey guys i've noticed that as of late i've been hearing a rattling sound when i start my car up in the morning.
when i turn on the car and teh engine revs up, i hear a rattles for about 1-2 seconds. it is very brief, but i can notice it. any clue as to what it is? and if i take it in to be fixed is it covered under warranty.

It's fairly common on '02+'s...there's a TSB out for it, check out Studman's website on the 2nd page of the TSB Sticky. I think the gen. consensus on here is that it doesn't do any harm so why let the dealer go through the involved process of trying to fix it when they could do more harm than good.

it is as long as your powertrain warranty has not expired.

BTW, it appears to happen more often when it is cold outside.

i'll have to pull my car file, but is that the 3 years/36,000 mile warranty or the 5 years/100,000 mile warranty?
