Ok i have a 2001 max with 80k on it. I think i put too many miles on it, im thinking about selling it and getting another max. The thing is how much should i get for a 2001 with 80k on it GLE?

 

80k? Thats really not that much on these engines. The only reason that I would sell you car and get another max is to trade your auto tranny ( i'm assuming) and 3.0 engine for a 6- speed 3.5. I really don't know how much you could get for your max but I do know that our max's suffer from bad resale value. If you're worried about durability, don't. If you want to upgrade, well that's a different story...

 

Well im mainly worried about getting too many miles on it and then when i want to sell it, it wont go for much becasue there would be too many miles. But yah i do have an auto and i want a manual now but thats not a big issue.

 

check the below sites and u will get a estimate of how much your car is worth...but i'm guess 12-13k with the mileage on your car...

Maybe it is where I am from but people are still selling 2k2's for 18k. I looked in autotrader (the mag) now if they can get 18k is another story.
