Progress Rear Sway Bar

What kind of effects will I feel with the Progress Rear Sway Bar on my 03 Maxima? I just got it installed today and really haven't taken the Max for a strong drive yet!!
Also I have the Tokico Blues and Tein H Techs installed With a Front Strut Bar.

You should see the biggest differences when you are on exit and entry ramps, but overall the rear end will just feel more planted.

Agreed. If I could grow an extra thumb to recommend an RSB, I'd give it three thumbs up!

The Max REALLY needs this because without it it is an understeering pig.

Don't get carried away when you're making turns. You'll feel like you want to go faster while turning.

BTW - if you hear a klunk, that's the control arm snapping back the rear axle (now that the RSB is mounted to the axle). So go over speed bumps and drive ways slowly. Dips in the freeway can't be helped.

I agree with all of the positive comments on the Progress RSB - wish I had known to put a RSB on my '98 (I think my '93 SE had the best Maxima suspension ever right from the factory). I enjoy the improvement most on sweeping turns and ramps. While I enjoy the softer ride of the GLE than my two SE's had, I found the bounding on bumpy turns disconcerting - having to constantly correct for the changes in understeer during undulating corners. Now it stays planted on a constant radius even when there are bumps with no more bounding rear end. Now I feel like I have the best of both worlds; nice ride and excellent handling.

I agree with you about the 3rd gen suspension MaxArt. Had I known how great my '94 SE handled out of the box compared to the newer ones, I would've stalled buying my '02 a couple yrs ago. But damn that 3.5, 6-speed, HID's and all those other goodies just SUCK you right in. hehe
Is progress the best RSB for our cars night now?

Noise/Klunk

I was wondering what that sound was, At first I thought it was the muffler hitting the body. Anyways, I took it to the garage where I got it put on, we took a drive and hit some bumps and that loud clank was there. Is there anyways of fixing that. I hate that sound and it sounds like its going to break. So its the control arm snapping back the rear axle? Please tell me theres a way to fix that problem!!!!

On my sway bar I had to shave off a corner on the passenger side sway bar bracket that goes over the axle with the big "U" bolt. Jack the car up and you'll see where you need to shave it off.

First you need to push the u-bolts and brackets as far outward they can go on both sides of the axle. if it continues, then shave off the rear part of the passenger side bracket, Not the U-Bolt, the Bracket.
