ok, i recievde mine today and put them on. the do fit but they require a little modifying. you must shave two square pieces on one of the sides of each nozzle, they then fit perfectly into the old nozzle holes but require a little adjusting depending on where you want them to spray.

instead of spraying two lines of fluid they spray across the entire windshield, and they spray higher than the stocks, so the fluid rolls down across the entire glass.

instead of two puny little water jets, its sprays the water like........ you would put your finger over a hose causing it to come out with more pressure. (cant think of any better way to explain it).

It sprays the fluid like a fanned mist. My wifes Focus does this and it does a much better job at distributing the fluid.

Might have to do this on mine. During the winter with all the salt I constantly clean my windows.

I'm curious about how long it took to install? Was it hard to get the old ones out? Can you still put the old ones back if the new ones don't work out? I'd also like to see the pictures.

Don't Bother. I have them on my Maxima 03 and hate them. Yes they spray better but they look like sh///t and you have to be careful when modifying them with a Dremel.

I am in the process of trying to buy back OEM ones to put them back on my car.

i didnt use a dremel, i used a scalpel i took from work, the only difference between them and the stocks is that they are more square and shorter, other than that they are the same. you have to position them to spra whereever you want. i bought them from jerry rome nissan's online catalog.

http://www.nissandealer.com/jerry-ro...ts_catalog.cgi

part number is up top.

The stock ones are adjustable, you could have aimed them higher if you wanted.

But the point is that you ONLY get two little pi$$ ant streams from each nozzle with the stock ones, where the Murano nozzles let loose a fan shaped medium velocity spread that covers the ENTIRE winshield. The Murano nozzles are superior in their cleansing ability...

I like adapting stuff from one vehicle to another (in the same Manufacturer brand). I've found literally hundreds of mods over the years by doing this. Keep up the good work! This is definitely a great/simple/cheap/effective mod...

nice find! I tried to swap in the sprayers from my wife's new Mazda 3 (which also spray a fan pattern) but they would not fit correctly (that, and the mazda dealer didn't have any to sell anyhow). I'll definitely have to get the murano ones, I did this "mod" on my old Honda Accord (with GM nozzles!) and it was a vast improvement....

I swiped the ones off of our murano, and tried to install them, heres what I found.

The nozzles are too small, and the "hole" you see is actually there. Not to mention you will have to buff out the hood to get rid of those ugly rings from leftover crap. I say, just aim the stock nozzles properly, use rainX (and the rainX washer fluid), and nothing will stick to the windshield. Also, remember to use Micro edge excel blades.
