Can I just say that Umnitza is now officially one of the top 5 businesses I've ever purchased from! I got a defective ring with my DDE, and it was replaced within a week. One of my ballasts just died this weekend, and Matt already shipped one out today. Awesome...

Also ordered the 921 =9-LED superwhite bults from Autolumination. They DON'T MATCH! They won't even excange them for matching bulbs either. I have to return my bulbs at my expense, and pay a restocking fee too!!

I don't like your clear turn signals for some reason. I suggest you put some Malibu light covers on it.

My chrome amber 7440 turns and 194 bumper lights were purchased from an ebay seller: cycolite383838
I will vouch for this ebay seller, as I got my bulbs from him as well.

Triple8Sol: They look awesome. I'm on my 2nd burned out ballast as well, but I found out that the ballast was getting wet on the passenger's side, which was causing the burnouts.

Are they replacing it for free again?

My driver's side is the one that died. So far passenger side is ok, although it was installed a week later. The weird thing is, I went for a cruise with my friend. All the DDE rings were working when we left my house, but then the driver's side died during our cruise. Weird...

do you have datadots installed? if so, you need to remove the front bumper to remove the headlights because there are more bolts

Sorry for the late reply.
Well I had very little problems taking off the headlights with the DATADOT's. After a couple hours I finally opened the DDE box that has been sitting in my room and as my luck would have it, I believe I broke one the big rings while taking out the top foam. What happened was while taking off the foam the bubble wrap was sticking out a little and not thinking or knowing what the bubble wrap would do, I grabbed both and pulled up, while pulling up I believe that pulling on the bubble wrap put stress on the ring and snapped it. I don't want to say it was shipped like that becuause it was packed very well, so I am taking the heat on this one. Well my lights are out of the car and I need to contact Umnitza to get a replacement ring.

If anyone is looking for an installer for DDE's, I'm an now Umnitza installer. I am willing to travel - I'll just make a short vacation out of the install...unless you live someplace really lame. If interested, please PM me for details.

Thanks alot, I think well i am going to try and do this tomorrow. I have had the DDE's in the box for two weeks and really want them on the car. So if the weather holds out tomorrow I will be attempting to do this install. Thats if I can get the headlights out of the Maxima.

If you are seriously thinking about doing a write-up on uninstalling the headlights with the Data Dots done, please reconsider.

Just because our lights are now protected with Data Dots does not mean that they are not targets. Do everyone on the .org and all Maxima owners a favor - don't post it up.

If you need assistance in removing the lights, contact someone via PM. But keep it out of the (searchable by yahoo/google/msn) public arena, i.e. the forums.

I must say, everytime I see pics of DDEs installed it makes me wish I had a 5th gen. DDE's look so sick!

(Then again, the 02/03 HIDs wont last a week here in North Jersey.
