CEL Light and weird issue

I have an 02 SE and have a CEL light. The car ran fine until this morning when it would not accelerate fast and when you tried to it would rev from 2000 to 3000 rpm and really not go anywhere. Any ideas?

Can be expensive, but call DAVEB(Dave Burnette) at 888-254-6060 and I *THINK* people have said ~$80? Don't quote me on that though.

I tried with no luck. It said connecting and then I was disconnected. I tried a few times. I called a local dealer and they quoted me $490 or close (I didnt have my VIN handy) so my next thing would be to find a wrecked one somewhere for parts or in a junkyard.

try to call him again this afternoon. He is the only way to go on this stuff. Problem with the junk yard is you might have the same problem in another month. Dave Burnette is a life saver (and wallet saver)

I will. Thank you both for your help. I think I was disconnected by the automated system they have. Even when I tried to get to the Operator it didn't work so I will try sometime later today. Where is this dealer located so I have a clue on the timezones?

Texas...I just got off the phone with him a couple hours ago.

I've never had that problem.
