Someone has a how to on their cardomain site, but I dont remember who. You should try a google search on "Maxima/ 350Z Dead pedal.

Deff. do it though. It looks sweet with the AE pedals.

I can't remember who I got mine from. It's not a Z dead pedal, but it looks just like it ($27 about a year ago). Four screws and about 5 minutes.

The Wild ***** Dead Pedal is what I have and I think is what you are referring to. I don't know if he still makes them, but they look just like the 350Z dead pedal without all the additional work.

Here's what Wild *****'s dead pedal looks like compared to the AE brake and gas pedal. It's about 1/8" thick aluminum plate compared to the paper thin 350Z metal on it's dead pedal.

True, but at least the real 350z dead pedal has rubber underneath it and little rubber circles coming through each of the holes. (Just like the AE brake pedal does.) Not only does it help with grip...but if you leave the Wild ***** pedal on for a while, then take it off you're going to have little circle stains on the carpet from where the dirt/mud got through the holes.

Add that to the fact that somehow Wild *****'s replica costs more than the real thing and it's a no brainer.

Wild *****'s has a plastic plate behind the aluminum plate, about the same thickness as the metal pedal. It will not leave little circle stains on the carpet.
