My ses light came on yesterday and the code is P0240 is that the 02 sensor?? I called nissan and made an appointment and the guy on the phone said that it might not be covered under my extended warrenty that i bought when purchising the car. I think they have to cover that right?? and if they dont how much does an 02 sensor run for?? And also i have been hearing a nasty sound when accelerating from a stop when the car is cold it sounds like something is rubbing under the car.. Any help is appreaciated..

 

Check the extended warranty document that explains what all is covered and what is not...

 

you sure it's 0240 and not the 0420? That's what mine was throwing...
here's what it shows for P0240: Turbocharger Boost Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance. Had no idea you have that!
