Tranny Whine..help!!!

I can hear a transmission whine whenever i accerelate slowly(not there if i accelerate brickly)...the noise is similar to the whine from an old ford windstar...its very audible in 1st and 2nd gear...but when i am in 3rd or 4th..i dont hear it ( probably because of more road noise)..the tech at the stealership says its normal...i mean i've driving cheaper cars than the max but have never heard this kinda of a noise...so can anyone tell me what to look for..my tranny fluid looks clean and red.
Thanks

I have it, but I hear it's either 1) normal or 2) part of the whistle/whine from my intake tubing. I no longer mind it.

It might be the cv boot or cv axel.

My tranny made the noise you described right before one of the bearings failed, but I have a 5spd.
