Cattman Y-Pipe install?
I’m installing my Cattman y-pipe tomorrow. Besides sockets and a wrench, are there any other tools I need or anything I should know before starting?
you will probably need assetaline (spelling) torch to get off teh bolts because believe me they are rusted on their really good..you will want extra nuts and bolts and you will probably want to have exhaust gasket sealer..you never know if its gonna leak and that will def take care of that problem...try to use a lift cause the last thing you want to be doing is cranking down on rusty bolts on your back..i had use of a lift and i def needed the torch to getthe bots off and i have an 03 good luck to you..you will be pleased
You'll need deep sockets and a universal pivot if you don't have those. A 22mm or 7'8" open end wrench. Some kind of a breaker bar. Long flat blade screw driver. Cattman's installation kit should have the nuts, bolts and gaskets you need. Some WD40 or liquid wrench. Like MAX0830 said, those bolts are on really tight. Good luck.
