Headlight opinion question please help

I have a 2000 SE with the black style taillights in the back. I have the standard 2000 headlamps and they are turning yellowish which is ****ing me off. I have tried cleaning them and all but nothing is working. I have thought long and hard about these projector lights off ebay. I know a lot of people here have bought them and installed them and I know there were lots of threads abouth them. BUt does anybody have a preference whether to go clear housing or black housing? Keep in mind I have the black tails so I was thinking black but my car is a light blue, so the chrome would look nice too. Also, is the quality of these nice? And I currently have PIAA bulbs, will I be able to use the PIAA H4 in the projector housing? Also I saw that there is a new style with 2 angel eyes. How hard are these to install? Sorry for all the questions and confusing post. I appreciate in advance any help.

haha doesnt look like your gettin any asnwers, well to start i think you should just get the 02 HID's they are much better, BUT if you wnat to go with teh projections, no, your H4 bulbs will not work, they use h1 i think, plus the angel eyes are not very bright (in the view of an owner of DDE's) if you do the mod that the other thread did yeah that would be great, but that would require more work and money....thats my 2 pennies.

I am thinking about getting a pair myself...i think the black housing might look good, but I have a grey lustre. I think the chromes would look kinda cheap. For 2000-2001 guys these headlights are not a bad route. The 02-03 hids are expensive and when you get them you still have to throw them in the oven and stuff to get the orange out of the lens, thats a PITA. Plus the wiring is also hard, plus these lights will give your max a custom look unlike eveyone's else's headlights. Iam a little weary about quality issues however, they may be inexpensive for a reason, If I installed them I might try to seal them with silicone or something, to try to prevent against condensation, especially incold climates, but if you get them definitly post pics and let us know how they hold up.

I had my old 2000 lights going a little yellow too and you can't take that off. Don't get projectors, I got the 2k2-2k3 hids and installation is not that hard, you just have to make sure everything is intact and wired correctly. I think projectors make the car look cheezy and fake and a bit ricey too. The 2k2-2k3 housings are awesome and made my car look much better and more classy.
See the difference.

Yeah I think the HIDs look much better than the projectors. The projectors look kinda cheap in my opinion but if you likem knock yourself out.
