Does anyone know of a dead pedal that can be overlayed over the cheesy piece of rubber where the dead pedal belongs? I am worried about wearing through carpet. Thanks in advance.

Just pick up the latest issue of Sport Compact Car. You will be able to find the exact dead pedal you want. Just watch out that you don't end up buying to many performance parts!

Momo makes them, but I have no idea how they install. Plain aluminum with drilled openings.

Buy some Velcro tape with the sticky backing (you can get it at Walmart). Put one side on the carpet in the car and the other on the dead pedal. This will allow you to remove it with no hassle!

LOL!

I have the levoc set with the "dead pedal" foot rest. I used the supplied screws to install it and had no problems. You could use the velcro, bt make sure you clean the area with alcohol to get it clean. If not the velcro will not stick and you just wasted your time.

Check my sig, and you can see the model # of the entire set I used.
