There is no way that a Haynes manual can give you all of the details that a Nissan service manual can. It is a 3 volume set. If you plan on doing most or all of your own work on your Max, you would be better served with the real deal. It will pay for itself after you use it a few times. Just my 2 cents.

The Haynes manual is good to have along with the factory service maunual. The Haynes "dumbs" things down for the weekend mechanic and shows you how to do things easier sometimes.

So, you have to spend more money to get less info? That may work for some but not for me.
