How to hotwire?

I am not trying to steal a car or anything, I have one, but just thought it would be good to know...so anyone know how to hotwire a car (detailed instructions).

You must be absolutely insane or something to ask such a dumb question.

Have you considred that there may be another idiot out there that may reply? and the BAM.. "HOW TO STEAL A MAXIMA VERSION 1.0" is released all over the internet.

First of all, its highly difficult and possible next to impossible as a result of the immobilzier...

It's an honest question, how many of us have found ourselves in our car, needing to go somewhere, not having our car keys with us and willing to tear apart the steering column and dash to get the car going? Anyone....

FYI you cannot hotwire a maxima (or most modern vehicles). You need the key with the programmed chip in it. You can screw all the wires but you will still not start it. Even if you manually jump the starter you still won't do it as your electricals won't function...

And that is a really bizarre thread anyway... Dukes of hazard hotwired stuff back in the 70s.. Movies aint for real you know

If I didn't have my key with me, I wouldn't be able to get into my car in the first place.

Other than you? Probably not. A Taxi would be cheaper than tearing your own car apart.
